Joshua is 2 and boy does he show it!
His personality has bloomed over the last few months. He Loves doing everything his big brother does. He knows what he wants and when and how he wants it and makes it very clear! He went from not saying hardly anything to now trying to tell us big stories! Scott and I can understand most of what he says but we have to do some translating for everyone else! He loves to play all kinds of sports and knows what to do with each kind of ball we have. His favorite varies from day to day. It is either baseball, soccer, or football mostly. One of my favorite things he does when he gets mad and is yelling and stomping his feet at you he is saying "Please Stop" if you are doing something that is not okay with him. Glad to see the Please made it's way into his tantrums at least! Some other things about him..... he is almost fully potty trained! (YAY!) He Loves to read stories and has parts of his favorite ones memorized. He loves to help mommy cook. He does great at playing on his own for bits of time throughout the day. He loves to wrestle and play with daddy. He is such a fun kid. We love you Joshua! I can't believe my baby is a little boy now where did the time go!
(another thing about him...he is a picker...he has had that scab on his head for about 2 months now and keeps picking it bigger and deeper.)
Scott was trying to help him get two fingers up
Couldn't figure it out so this is what we showed him instead...one on each hand!
As we were taking pictures he noticed a helicopter outside
We had planned on spending his birthday with Scott's family and my sister Heidi and her fam but of course we ended up getting pink eye. So we just had a little party at home for him. Collin gave him his favorite book "The Little Mouse the Red Ripe Strawberry and the Big Hungry Bear"
(The doctor glued this band aid on his head that is supposed to not come off for a few days but of course by the end of nap time he had picked it off as well. He is a little stinker)

Scott and I gave him his first real Soccer Ball! He was so excited! We wished we had it on video because the second he opened it he Yelled out "Soccer" He was beyond excited! Little did he know Grandma and Grandpa had the other half of the gift a real Soccer Goal which he loves so much also!
Instead of my sister making him an adorable Monster cake like we had planned we had to settle for a grocery store cake and some balloons instead!
