Big Christmas Post

Our boys were so fun this Christmas! Collin has hit the age where you could feel the excitement coming out of him just by being near him. He could not wait for all the presents. I tried to do my best at teaching him about the birth of Christ so he could feel that spirit of Christmas as well but i think I need to try a little harder next year on that one. We spent our Christmas eve with Grandma and Grandpa Ploharz. We had fun playing games and eating and eating and eating lots of yummy Christmas candy and snacks! After we read the story of the birth of Christ form the scriptures we got to open our slippers and the boys opened there Jammie's then we left for home to get the boys to sleep so Santa could come!
Santa arrived with many fun things! He brought us all our very own Fish! The boys were excited to have there first pet. They love watching them and feeding them. Collins is a red beta fish and the tank has a pirate ship in it. He named his Cardinal (Of course his dad loved this name because he is a St. Louis Cardinal fan) Josh got a blue beta and his tank has a football in it. He named his fish "Blue fish" and likes to call Collins firetruck fish and it makes Collin soooo mad! Scott and I got some grey and white tetra's and some orange guppy fish I think?! Ours got something called Ich so they all ended up dying. I was pretty bummed so we are going to try again in a week or so.
Santa came through and got Collin the Transformers he wanted!
And Josh was so excited for his football and baseball stuff!
If you didn't notice the boys have very different personality's as far as what they like to play with but they both have fun playing together also! Uncle Greg helped them set up their Hungry Hungry Hippos game
Scott's Dad, his sister Sarah, her boyfriend Seth, mom and brother Greg came to join in on the Christmas fun and excitement of the morning! You can tell they were all so thrilled for me to take a picture
Of course the packing peanuts were the biggest hit thanks to grandma Mel showing the boys what to do with them!
After all the presents were unwrapped and we had yummy Christmas casserole and orange rolls we all headed back to Scott's Parents for the day. The boys got soooooo spoiled there! A big thanks to all the fam for getting the boys many many new things to keep them entertained. Grandma and Grandpa gave them these pillow pets which they LOVE and they Zonked out so quickly that night. That much excitement all in one day tired them out. Overall it was a wonderful Christmas!
