4th of July

For the 4th we spent the day in Layton with the Ploharz Family. Grandma Mel and I took Collin to the Layton parade. He was more interested in playing with the rocks and dirt than watching the parade! Then we picked up Scott, baby josh and aunt Sarah to go to the carnival. We had lots of fun there! Scott and Sarah road a mechanical bull, Scott and I Jousted, and Collin got to go on all the bounce toys and ride the train! He was in heaven! Thanks grandma Mel for all the tickets!
Then we finished the day with some roasted marshmallows and watching all the many fireworks going off in the sky all around us! Needless to say we were all pretty tired by the end!!

Collin loved doing poppies! He got pretty creative with all the ways he could throw and pop them!

This isn't a very good picture but before the fireworks Scott took Collin on a bear hunt in the long grassy field! Collin loves the book "Were going on a bear hunt" so he thought it was pretty cool to go in the long wavy grass to look for bears!!
