Unfortunately we were not able to escape sickness this time around. When Collin was a baby we managed to keep the germs away but we weren't so lucky with little Josh. He has been fighting RSV. I thought he just had a little cold but we decided to take him in anyway. I am so glad we did. The poor little thing was so very sick. We took him to the doctor on wed. and they started him on breathing treatments that we had to do every four hours. We also got an antibiotic for his ear infection and a nose sucker machine to keep the snot cleared out. I went back to the doc. the next day for a follow up and she told me that Dr. watts, who had seen him on wed, told her that he thought for sure they would end up admitting him to the hospital. I didn't realize that it was that bad, but thankfully he was doing well enough that we didn't have to have a hospital stay.
This is the breathing treatment. It was so sad but it really helped. We are still doing it a couple times a day but shouldn't have to for too much longer.
Thankfully he is back to his usual smiley self!! It broke my hear to see him so sick.

That is so sad, I'm glad he's doing better.
Oh he is such a doll. It is so hard to have a sick baby because there is not enough you can do to help but that is good that you got a sucker machine and a breathing machine. I bet he is going to look so much like Collin.
SAD!!! I hate when they get sick. He is getting so big tho. He is really cute. I can't wait to see him in person... someday!
I'm so glad you guys didn't have to take him to the hospital. By the looks of it though Josh had it way worse than our little guy! It couldn't have been too fun doing those breathing treatments. Hope he is doing tons better!
